How did YOU find Evile?

I went on the Liveline to vote for Megadeths opening act on the EU tour and found Evile among them, went to their myspace and was completely blown away when I heard Enter The Grave. Bought the record almost instantly. I soon joined the forums :D

Saw some forum-thread somewhere involving voting, Evile was in the alternatives and Ol was on there taking shit from everyone so I felt sorry for him and checked them out. Liked what I heard, sent him a PM that I'd see them supporting Megs later that month and that I was looking forward to it, then saw 'em live at said Megs show. It's funny, everyone liked them but hated the other supportband (Avatar) yet Avatar got a much longer set. Bah. :p

I guess I found Evile as soon as they changed their name from Metal Militia. I first saw the guys as MM in a pub called The Lockwood in Huddersfield, around 7 years ago, where I was impressed by the fact they were playing old school thrash when no one else was.:kickass::headbang:

I think Armoured Assault was on a MetalHammer CD at one point, I liked it, then they were on Rockband, i loved it, I really dont get why so many artists knock rockband and guitar hero ive found alot of music through the games, then I saw the CD in HMV and the rest is history.

Found them on iTunes back when Enter the Grave came out. Listened to everything that was on Myspace at the time every day.

I found them first on a Metal Hammer CD, when I heard" we who are about to die". Strangely Evile were actually playing in Newcastle on that same day I first heard them, and also with the mighty Mutant I believe. I really wish I'd found them earlier like , missed a hellish gig.

I think someone posted about Evile on the Jackson/Charvel forum around the time Enter the Grave came out. The first song I listened too was "We Who Are About To Die" and I was hooked. I didnt find the forums until Infected nations came out though.

Well, I saw the Trasher music video on TV before they came to Portugal for the SWR... I was freaking stoned after watching it so I searched high and low and I got here...

Found them on Bebo, one of my friends videos was Thrasher, so I watched it and thought it was alright, but I found myself wanting to watch it later, and again, and then I realised they were awesome.

I think I was looking up thrash on Wikipedia to try and find some good new bands. Either that or I looked up Flemming Rasmussen, not too sure. I saw Evile and remember seeing their name pop up a couple of times before, and something about Matt saying Load is a great album. I decided to check them out on Youtube since I'd seen the name around a couple times before, this was about a month after Enter the Grave came out I think. First song I heard was Killer from the Deep, after that I was hooked.

I was wandering round HMV wearing a Metallica shirt and some weirdo working there thought I'd be interested in what he had to say because of said shirt and his obvious love for metal. We got chatting about music and shit, and Evile came up, he said I should go see their gig the next week or whatever. I thought "sod it", in true HMV fashion, and went along. Turned out to be a good call.

Thanks for that Matt :D
