Probably like 2 cans a day of diet something caffeinated. If I don't get much sleep the night before it typically ends up being a steady flow of soder drinkin' though to keep me going.

Every now and then I get on a kick to stop drinking it altogether, and after about 2 days I'm done with caffeine headaches, but then a few days later I run out of juice or bottled waters and need something to drink so I go for a soda and IT BEGINS AGAIN

lack of it, yes.

It's an addictive substance, without it blood vessels in your brain constrict because they need their fix.

edit: er, I have it backwards maybe? Headaches are usually caused by enlarging blood vessels, where as caffeine keeps them restricted, I think. So lack of caffeine causes them to enlarge more than normal perhaps

and then too much caffeine can cause a headache by excessive constricting.

I hate diet soda... aspartame and NutraSweet and sucralose stand out too much to me and ruin the experience.

I get migranes quite regularly, and drinking caffeine when and only when they're nearing, can actually prevent them from getting any worse. This is with me, anyway... a lot of people are different.

I used to think that too about the aspartame, until I got used to it perhaps. I still taste it in certain things, like diet coke, and certain brands of light yogurts.

Now when I have a regular soda, the SUGAR stands out too much to me and ruins the experience.

You mean fructose, Derick. And I tried for years, not never over the artificial sweeteners.

Yes, you are quite correct. I can drink a soda with cane sugar and think it's DELICIOUS.

See? Cane Sugar soda is all I want to drink now! I hate fructose and artificial stuff. I want CS Dr. Pepper :(

I'm trying, believe me. I have to weigh between two requested points of return this year. Nothing would satisfy me more than some Waterburger and a Sugar Dr Pepper. Except maybe WB onion rings along with it.
