The car model* is gorgeous, so it gets a thumbs up from me. The Chrysler one is well done, but it's like putting a turd in a Gucci box, and presenting it to your girl for V-Day.

dude.. seriously. i wouldnt touch one of those things with a 10 foot pole. believe me, i'm ALL for electric vehicles, but this thing is a train wreck. anyone who knows ANYTHING about batteries knows that they never work as well as they're supposed to. counting on the public to responsibly charge or respect these things is a bad idea, because most people can't even treat a cell phone battery properly. and what happens when the thing starts to die? nissan gets sued by a bunch of idiots

so. my car search has finally ended. decided that i don't want to have any actual car payments right now, so i set a budget and ended up with a 2002 Ford Focus SE (5-speed). its in great shape and is a world of difference compared to my old volvo wagon. driving a small car is pretty fun... the only problem is that i'm still a little sketchy with my stick skills. the only experience i've had was with a 25 year old Ford Ranger, and this is obviously a little more sensitive. lots of bucking and whatnot right now, but i will have no problem with it in a weeks time. i had my heart set on a saab or newer volvo, but i decided to bite my elitist bullet and go for the car that is less likely to give me trouble down the road. when you buy a used car, you have to get the one that will be cheapest to fix 
speak of the devil- i was an idiot and didn't realize that the fan motor was only working on the highest speed. i sent the dealership an email and they're going to fix it totally for free. nice.
