Someone with *real* transcendent understanding would presumably recognize the futility of conveying that understanding to others, and thus would expect to be inevitably perceived as a pretentious twat, so the option of "pretentious twat" is presented to them as an invitation to be tongue-in-cheek.

Then there are the literally pretentious people who choose to *claim* such understanding, as the result of their belief system. The accurate answer for them would be the first, but their pretentions lead them to choose the third. There is of course no guaranteed way to distinguish them from the real deal.

If you consider yourself jaded, then I doubt you have any real transcendent knowledge, and you're not doing a very good job pretending to such knowledge either, so "jaded" remains your best answer.
