I recall last year my friend was in school despite a 103 temperature (a really bad flu)- I think we were reading "To Kill a Mockingbird" and when the the teacher said something about all of the lynchings that occured back in the day, he was completely zoned out and mumbled (very loudly) something like "Get those my pals".

One time many years ago we were hanging out at some dude's house, and our friend who was VERY dark comes up to the window at night and all we could see were teeth and eyes when he knocked on the window. Scared the shit out of us, we were probably stoned.

If it was the former, then yeah, you might've deserved it.

If it's the latter, then they overreacted and can't handle someone else that might have a different view on things.

Question about Nazis, historically or today. Do they have a thing against anyone that isn't white, including arabs, asians, south americans, etc., or just blacks and jews? I heard Hitler admired Japanese culture. One of you dudes explain the whole nazism thing and exactly what you think Aryan means. Whether it's being from a certain area of the world, or a race, etc.

I won't get into the whole 'what is nazism'-thing even if I think I could do it well, it's just too much work and I don't really care. Ah, come one, it's called humour. I think it's fun to use now and then in different cases, partly because it was so arbitrarilty used (and still is) and partly becuase the old nazis preached it in such an incessant way that it gets comical.

My grandmother still uses "my pals", but she does it in a mean way, and yeah, it can make everyone in the room uncomfortable.

My wife hates the word, even when I use it for humor. We have a black dog and a red dog, and sometimes I call the black dog a "my pals dog", and she always gets pissed at me.
