I got beat up by my pals last weekend

It's a harmless word, and it's meaning is just as ambiguous as any other word! Sorry, but people should be allowed to say what they want. Stop being a pussy :P

Typical response, what I expected. But that's what I get for hanging out with people who don't know much of shit about the Afro-American culture and take humor in spewing out anti-semitic crap and think yelling Seig Hail is funny.

Aryans are Persian. Today, they are from Iran, otherwise you're looking at the ancestory of what was once "Persia".

Hm, that's not what I've read. I made a pretty lengty post on the subject not that long ago, so I can't be arsed to do it once more. Perhaps some prem.mem could search for it?

Ask KKK about that

Dude, forget the KKK. If you're seriously into this hate vibe, you're actually better off following a white supremacist Nazi ideaology. At least it follows some thought process, however radical it might be. The KKK are a bunch of southern hicks who have sex with their family members and livestock.

You've seen American History X, right?

I spent several weeks working with a devout Christian (he believes every single word of the bible) and he really does believe that every single human descended from Adam and Eve. He has love for everyone, he's not a part-time follower of religion. He even loaned me his book on The Bible Codes. :tickled:

spelling it is funny too

I have never in my life met an afro-american and what I know about them is mainly pretty silly and of course media-induced bullcrap. Why should I care?

For the record, the ones that kicked my ass were, just like Tully said, sandniggers so maybe a few flag-wielding americans will forgive me now. Oh, and two were white on the outside (but my pals at heart)

So just because their culture seems to commonly include harsh overreaction to a simple, harmless word means that those 'uninformed' about African American culture are somehow in the wrong? I think I've said the word in question less than 5 times in my life, and never with a seriously degrading intent. It's the motives behind the words that should be used to judge situations like this, but sometimes people can't get past the words themselves. Words are a tool, and black people shouldn't lash out at non-blacks for using "their word" just because we use it for reasons they don't understand or don't care to make an attempt at understanding.

Thanks for being so dismissive of me though, you know, 'cause I run around yelling SEIG HAIL all day, and clearly am decked out in swastikas even as we speak.

Josh, if you have any reasons that we shouldn't say that word besides "OH NO IT OFFENDS THEM, IT'S NOT FAIR *CRY*", feel free to voice them. I'm not saying you don't, I'd just like to hear em.

It offends me, end of story. I spend tons of time on other boards (i.e. rap boards promoting my artists), only to come here and see people use this word as a reference point for humor, and I don't want to be associated with it. RC deals with record labels and is associated with all sorts and it bothers me that one of the main threads on page one of our forum has the fuicking word in the title.

Sorry, but I don't feel like having my name and picture on a website that so freely condones the use of the word by those who would get their fucking teeth knocked out if they were to come out from behind their computer screen and say it.

PLEASE don't take me sofucking seriously all the fucking time, I know just how stupid the KKK are and that comment was what generally is considered a "joke", a comment meant to spawn gentle chuckles that make the beerbelly hop in a funny way

EDIT: Also, from what I've seen and heard (OZ, American History X, internet in various ways) 99.99999% of all american nazis are so fucking stupid it hurts just to think about it. In comparison with about 98.99% or so (numbers taken fromthe bureau of important statistics, facts gathered early 2005) of the european ones that's not really good.

Haha. It's the very fact that we WOULD get our teeth knocked out for saying the word in public that I don't agree with. If I walked up to a black guy and said "I hate you and your filthy my pals kind and hope you all burn in a big oven!" then I'd deserve what I got. But if taken in a joking context as it is here, it's just a damn word, and it won't hurt anyone. Sticks and stones...

And again, if you are of white skin, I understand why you don't understand.

I am Dariush, the great king, the king of kings
The king of many countries and many peoples
The king of this expansive land,
The son of Wishtaspa of Achaemenid,
Persian, the son of a Persian,
'Aryan', from the Aryan race

"From the Darius the Great's Inscription in Naqshe-e-Rostam"

That is fucking beautiful.

There is a debate about the origins of Aryans. Some people believe they moved to Iran, and some people believe they evolved right there, but there is no doubt that the true meaning of the word 'Aryan' implies a geographical connection to Iran, or Persia.

*implied, or should imply. These days it almost always means germanic or just white.

Josh, I'm not going to keep this going any longer. We've both said what we need to, let's let it go. I know I don't understand anything about African-American culture, but that's not even what I'm arguing, so never mind. My lunch is ready anyways.

Yeah, I don't claim to have any absolute truths to show, just a different version, but that's pretty obvious I guess. Anyway according to this book (the main litterature in the university course I did) claims that the aryans emerged somewhere south of India and conquered India (and other lands as well perhaps) and its indigenous people in 1500 BC and later on mixed with the locals and merged.

Yeah, there are several theories. Some people believe they emerged from central asia too.

Either way, true Iranians are beautiful people - probably the most extraordinary looking people in the world. Light brown straight hair that turns blonde in the sun, mocha skin, emerald green eyes....I went to private school in London for year when I was 17 and the overseas rich kids were Iranian. I have to say, the girls could have been models.

So far, from what I've seen with my own eyes, the best looking girls are from Iran and Greece (Greek Cypriots to be precise). Turkish Cypriots are also stunning.

Someone in here said that people who are "too sensitive" are dumb. Fact is: Racism is dumb. It's neither funny to call Afro-Americans my pals, nor is it any funny to praise a sick bastard like Hitler (even less funny if done in public). If you don't take other people's emotions and sensitivities into consideration (whether you think they're justified or not), you can be sure you'll end up with a bleeding nose sooner or later.
I'm even more sensitive about the whole nazi issue cos I happen to be German, and there's still so many retards out there who call Germans nazis, either for the "fun" of it (ho ho ho) or because their brains stopped working at a certain point far back in history.
Call me humourless if you like, but I don't think nazi jokes are funny in any way. These bastards killed millions of innocent people in the most brutal, cruelest ways you can imagine. You might stop pulling crap jokes about Hitler and his companions once you've seen the former death camps in Poland and Germany.

But I guess I could just as well talk to walls. :Smug:

Have you seen them out of interest?

Also, when you see films like Schindlers List, do you feel guilty for being German?
