Haha, I kinda agree with what you're saying. I mean, humans do very grotesque things to each other, I'm not sure those things exist in the animal kingdom... do they? Do they rape each other and like, deliberately make each other feel bad, mobbing and shit?

Well, it's fine if you believe in God but I would pull the same card really but I would just call it Evolution instead... and I can't believe evolution hasn't gotten rid of us, because we're raping this planet :) We will get rid of ourselves eventually though, I guess.
 
Thats real shitty, i know how it feels. the sense of violation is aweful but dont let yourself get all worked up about it.

i (almost) got held up before in broad daylight, about 5 knackers came up to the guy standing beside me in the bus queue and started going through his pockets.
guy was shit scared so i interveened and they were all like " give us yer money or oi'll fuckin knife ya". i just stared him in the eye and said, "no, you wont".
they fucked off then but the other guy was shakin like a leaf and they had all his stuff. fuckin fags.

i spent days obsessing over it all and being real upset, got wound up real tight but eventually chilled out.
my advice is just chill and be thankful you're ok :)

If I could get away I probably would, I wouldn't sit there and take a beating from dudes with knives just to be a good friend... But I wouldn't just bail, I would get help from the closest place I could find and go back there with a few people right away... In bad parts of town like that, especially in the US where the gun laws are a lot softer than here in Canada, I imagine a lot of storefronts probably have weapons behind the counter for defense in their own robberies so finding some convenience store owner with a shotgun to come and scare those fuckers off probably isn't completely unrealistic...

Like I said, that story fucks with me so much that i want to do some really bad things to some people. I could deal with life in jail. Not much different that life now, just in different ways. That really sucks dude. It pisses me off how easy it is for people to do this and get away with it. We need more leeway in our ability to defend ourselves. There are predators everywhere and we're expected to just stand there and take it in the ass. Hope some cops 'accidentally' shoot these shitbags in the balls to stop them polluting the gene pool any further.

Yup, it's absolutely horrible and despicable - I know rehabilitation and trying to get the parents to see the error of their ways is the civilized and mature CoA, but man, sometimes I feel it's just not fucking worth it and they should be offed, no questions asked...
 
Dont remember many of the details... I was too drunk for my own good, like an idiot. I finished a few drinks, then my buddy who was supposed to show up never did, so I realized I'd best get moving before drunkenness sets in...

So I dont really remember the sequence of events too well. I THINK there may have been a gun but I know there was about three of em and I wasnt prepared or expecting it... then being basically drunk... lame shit.

In trying to get out of there, and being in no condition to, I blew a tire and ripped up my clutch, too. Good times. I WAS in the market for a new MacBook Pro, but now Im in for towing fees, fixing my car, buying a new wallet, getting another drivers license, buying a new Black Berry FULL POP cuz AT&T only gave me their "deal" when I re-upped for another two years last month, etc etc.

It is very sad but in fairness its not nearly as bad as the kind of shit the japanese, soviets and nazis pulled during WW2,
not do downplay the horribleness of child abuse, but i think a bit of perspective is needed here.

You dont need to put anything perspective. Im sure everyone is well aware of those acts. Trust me, the Nazis are another reason to the list of "HUMANITY IS LOST" that i have going. That was during war and a long time ago though. This wasnt during war or anykind of psychotic "these people shouldnt live" kinda thing...these 2 kids were their fucking BABIES. Its alot easier to hurt someone you arent related to. For a parent to hurt their baby... takes a special kind of fucking psycho.

I took the delivery to the door and the lady said she didn't order so i was going to back to my car to get my phone to call and confirm the address. They jumped out from behind a van and pointed the gun right between my eyes. Then they locked me in my small dark trunk....for two hours.

In fairness? What fairness? How can you possibly compare the two situations? Both are equally horrible.

To the OP and others in this thread, it's very unfortunate and I'm sorry these things have happened to. I work in a prosecutor's office and some of the shit I read makes me furious on a daily basis.

I know there are a lot of anti-gun peeps here, but if I didn't live in NJ I would have my concealed carry permit in a heartbeat. Fuck political correctness and fuck having faith in people...there are evil pieces of shit out there that will kill you for your wallet. I wouldn't want to be one of their victims.

Oh i know, i just felt it needed to be said.
as is always the case though, there is usually more to a story than the surface facts and the tabloid interpretation. i dont know anything about this case but i do know that there are medical conditions that cause parents to inflict harm on or kill their offspring, just like how lions (and many other animals) sometimes do.

i'm just playing pure devils advocate here, i just get real uncomfortable with the usual hysterical reactions to events and stuff. like how everyone rushes to heap condemnation on the nazi eugenics program but conveniently forget that Eugenics was an American export and that America had forced sterilisation programs in force long before Hitler came to power. there is always more to the story :)

(disclaimer: i dont advocate child abuse or nazi-ism or anything. i'm just a guy who hesitates before the "BAN THIS SICK FILTH" reactions :) )

Except the Nazis acted without regard for ANY human life whatsoever. Twin experiments, surgery without sterilization, subjecting their victims to high pressure chambers, and then thrown away like pieces of meat to die.
