Thats not what I mean, of course you can't go to work in fuckin' full armor smokin' ciggies and smashing posers. Its hard to explain, but its like...the people are just "Escaping" from there lives on the weekend, instead of having somthing be a part of there lives even when they are at work, or at home, or out, or in, or pissing or shitting or eating and fucking or watever. theres nothing wrong with having a good job and being responsible either. many of those good jobs dont go hand and hand with "being goth" (or metal for that matter). id probably lose my license if i showed up to work in jeans and a metal shirt.....or whatever.

Herse an example:
At that party I saw a man who was a surgeon during the weak. At the party he goes into the bathroom and comes out dressed as a women, gets on his knees, starts licking some chicks boots, and gets flogged. He was 50-60 years old.
I think that somone with long hair, who when he comes home from work changes into an Exodus shirt and some jeans is far less of a "loser" then somone that far up the creek.
i dunno, saying "i'm metal" seems really goofy (and yes i say it to joke around sometimes), but just because i read a lot of books and listen to introspective music doesn't mean i'm going to walk around saying "i'm sooooooo post-rock."
