Well yes, I think we can consider it a long absence, can't we??
I suppose non of you remember me, and of course I don't remember any of you....
I disappeared some months ago, because some creature kidnapped me (actually myself
)....
I don't know if I will stay....to be truth there are some people that started being irritatingly straight...but I'm not who to a) judge b) tell off c) give candies to the goods ones, so the bad ones get jealous...
well....as long as it lasts...I'm back...

I too have returned from a little abscence because of an annoying computer virus which unabled me to go online, the problem was solved a week ago, since then I'm "alive & posting" again!! You can now also behold my sweet face on the DT board members pic page...

Welcome back MadTinus! Good you fixed the virus. Viruses are annoying. I once had one which made my computer freeze, but got rid of it.

Thanks all you lovely people for the warm "welcome back" (honest! ).
Yet, tomorrow (Sunday) I will leave again, no virus this time, but a short vacation to the capital of the Czech Rep., Prague. It was questionable until recently if we could go because of the floods, but all seems to be OK just in time. It will be just a week, so Monday September 2nd I'll be back...

This virus I had actually didn't cause a lot of problems to the way my PC functioned, it didn't delete or damage any files either (as far as I noticed), the only thing it did was disable my Norton anti-virus. And as soon as I was online it started to send around annoying messages with the virus to all my contacts, so I just couldn't go online before I fixed it.Originally posted by mousewings

I formatted my C drive to get rid of the virus, so I had to re-install Windows and all other programs again
Later on it appeared that it could have been solved in a much easier way, but it was too late... Re-installing was actually not really the problem, but I somehow just couldn't get my internet-connection to work... It connected, but I couldn't open any pages, nor download my e-mail. I tried EVERYTHING, until in total desperation I decided to call the helpdesk of my provider and she (yes, 't was a she..) advised me to re-install a part of Windows called "External access" (don't know if this is the right translation...) and it appeared to be the solution, so since last week Tuesday I'm back...

Thanatos@ uhmmm even though part of my holidays was fucked up due to a temporary (medical) depression and some other problems preventing me from making all my satanic plans reality ( ) I had a very chupi time,gained some extra wisdom (uhm,sth like that anyway),some extra confidence,the memories of the holidays are extremely positive (uhmm,again i can't find the proper words),spent my holidays with a fellow DT fan,whiling away the days being lazy and hooked on a 1000 piece puzzle
chupi holidays.....so chupi that i now i want more
and more of the fellow Dt fan.....

@MadTinus: I once got one of those e-mail viruses from a stupid newsgroup. Fortunately my program warned me fo it. I also got a bug which makes the computer conflict with IE5. Sadly I still have it and am using IE4.
Good that the virus didn't cause any problems to your computer.
Have a good time on vacation. Steal some trippy art worth a lot of money.

i guess i'm finally back. i don't remember anything of what happened before, have no idea what will happen in the future and don't really give a flying bu about what's going on now.
ok, i'm trying to read through four pages of threads, so please bear with me, and possibly teddybear with me if you feel mellow.
on the fourth / third page there are just flames about bands like emperor and ppl vaguely accused of being gay. possibly emperor themselves, i have no idea.
however, i'm not gay or an emperor so i guess i better skip to the second page and try to find my way up to the top.
speaking of top, one of the threads sticking there is about to go and leave room to the mighty, power-metallish thread that will contain tedious stuff such as were ppl can post pictures and see forumgoers performing at their least worst with cats, long hairs, sunglasses and t-shirts with puzzling logos. or were ppl can send their avatars to be stored. (by the way, where's mine gone?).
check out the new poll about that and everything else i might decide to write before i collapse on my keyboard and sleep through my first day at work after getting back from holidays.
