@narcoloth: it seems mark removed the java chat from the site, but the irc server's still up and running. you simply need a classic irc client like mirc/ircle/bitchx/whatever (it depends on your os) to reach the server. the irc host is irc.mahke.net, as usual :)

welcome back hiljainen, pleased to see you again! :)

this day wasn't good at all for me either, so just close your eyes for a moment, think: "god, of all the ppl in the world i had to end up having a bad day the same time as rahvin", then give in to utter despair. ;)

rahvin. (knows how to cheer you down)

Welcome back, Wanderingblade. They missed you, I'm cold as ice, and didn't miss you at all. It's another proof of my controlled robotic nerves.

'ello all,

I'm back after a one-week vacation to the Czech capital Prague. Very nice indeed, the waterlevel has lowered a lot since the floods of 2-3 weeks ago and everything's slowly getting back to normal over there it seems, from the tourist point of view that is...

I didn't see as much damage as I thought would see after what I'd heard and seen on the news, but some of the areas close to the river were closed, so I couldn't check there... There was a lot of rubble being disposed from all the buildings that were most severely affected, but on the outside it didn't look as bad as I expected.

Now don't think of me as some "disaster-tourist", cause the trip was booked well before a drop of rain had fallen in Prague... (well...). It was even unsure if we'd be able to go at all until a week prior...

EDIT: one bad thing was that because of the floods the Rock Cafe (which is also a CD-store and a club for bands to perform live), located very close to the river was closed (for obvious reasons) so I was forced to spend my nights out bouncing around in discotheques... :err:

Welcome back to Hiljainen, Wanderingblade, and MadTinus. :)

That must be odd... never been to one of those myself, but then again I never go outside much. Did you go to Prague alone or with friends. Going to clubs is a bit more fun with lots of people from what I've heard. Your trip sounded very cool... :) Glad to hear there wasn't an extensive amount of damage in the area.

welcome back wanderingblade and madtinus!

i managed to anticipate the flood in northern germany, thus helping to divert the wreckage towards the north sea, like the pied piper did with mice. see, i'm a hero like |ngenius, now. :Smokedev:

Have I ever been gone?... ;) there's just not much time...
But thanx!!!
Hmm....I guess you were first saying you're a hero....
I said I need one and you said there I am ;)
By the way - how to put a link to an image??

@ladycal: just use the img tag if you want to post it here, otherwise link to the complete url of the image.
so you were around and spying on us all the time, huh? :Smug: well, heroes can stand all this and more! :p
