I wondered about Christianity today...

ORGANIZED CHRISTENDOM is the most provoking, stupid thing I have met in my life. They're so pathetic it makes me want to ..... aargh....grrr....

These words say more about you than about christendom. And man, just read your uwn post once again and you'll meet stupidity more sad than "stupidity" of organized christendom.:loco:

Now you can read YOUR post and find the same stupidity again, and then I can do it again, and then you ....

... Organized religion DOES provoke me and I THINK it is stupid that people are so naive as to still obey those morons...

Now, if you think organized religion/christendom is cool, then you think its cool.

All right guys, if you're going to throw premature insults at each other, you know the place: the official bb. :D

This place is reserved for idle peaceful chat.

FUCK YOU Eclipse!
There's no way you're going to turn this place into another battleground, you sick bastard!
I hate you and you know how I wish you to rot in hell, but for one more second I'll be a reasonable man, and I'll tell you to shut your fucking mouth while it's still in relatively proper shape!
So shut the fuck up!!!
No one has the right to spoil the aura of peace in and around this bb.

How can you say its stupid to dislike organized religion?
If I think Britney Spears is a stupid bitch, then I am allowed to think it - and I do think there are stupid things in the world, and the most stupid thing of them all is RELIGION.

People who believe in supernatural powers are kind of naive, I think, or weak or something.

Ok, eclipse, here:
Meatalmaster, I already said what I think about naiveness.(And man, it was really naive to emcrease number of your posts writing in the thread of Chuck Schuldiner hundred posts one-word-length!:)) Now what about stupidity: I didn't say that it is stupid to dislike religious organisation ( you know, it is some like a fashion now to dislike christianity and shout about it on every corner), it is really your choice. I wrote about the way you wrote about christianity, that it makes you bwooorrrrllllleeee!!! spew.

"During the middle ages, people had a tremendous amount of faith. So much so that they believed that anything and everything was because God willed it. During the Age of Enlightenment, people began to realize that humans could achieve things for themselves by using their minds. Enlightenment thinkers began to expose the corruption, injustice, and other evils of the government and Church. To follow brainlessly would be stupid."

I finally learned something in school that I could use. The thing is that I go to a school run by a Catholic order. What does this tell you about Christians? Think about what you've just read and you'll see why I'm not Catholic

I'm not a huge fan of organized religion either.

Still, I really want you to understand this simple point: Religion is not anything destructive, the biggest threat to human being is the human being itself. If the notion of religion did not exist, or was not defined, people would have found another mass-inflicting tool to serve their ends. It's humans who twist existence, and it's only fair that humans suffer in the end. So why put the blame on anything neutral while we know that it's us humans who push it towards either pole?
