I agree. Even Jon Schaffer says that; he was really pissed when he wrote it and couldn't concentrate on it very well. It's still a decent album, though.

Secondly, you are talking about burnt offerings that Jon doesnt like, not dark saga! But I suspect you know that and all the light beer you are drinking is going to your head

hahaha! you name ie kings? this is somewhat funny. IE is nothing compared tro nvm. when i saw both bands on the darkssaga/poe tour ie were just wiped out by nvm. i mean ie were just for the kidies there who knew nothing about snctr and nvm. you see they were too heavy for them. whereas ie just copied metallica and iron maiden playing stollen riffs a bit faster nvm were creating new heavy sound. the dark saga is all based on metallica riffs, maiden solos and an attitude that is really scary for a 3 year old. haha! the ie dudes came on the stage dressed like metallica did 10 years ago and they were accusing metallica for selling out. they were really nasty just to impress the kiddies there but i was laughing all over this stupid show of impressionism. they were accusing and calling names the band they were stealing from. haha! really funny.the three first ie albums are great! but once they got to grow popular they went to shit in any aspect...
sorry but this is the truth my friend. don't be fooled by the media. i just hope that this won't happen to nvm (actually i am sure that it won't).
I cant believe I have to point this out! I was being SARCASTIC....sorta....come on, we all know Iced Earth are the kings, Nevermore can be the Queens for now. Cant say fairer than that. Nevermore are bloody **fantastic** but they will always be the kings bitch while IE are around
Just like to point out that if you dont like Iced Earth, you are wrong. But thats ok, i dont hold a grudge and will forgive you and will welcome you back to the fold when you realise the error of your ways.

Stop kissing WD's big-divine ass... Iced Earth are a good band. Sanctuary did nothing more than continue-on from Iron Maiden and Priest, yet i don't see you ragging sanctuary now do i?

You're a dude 'Metalized', a really cool guy. But Iced Earth and Nevermore are two totally different styles of music. You are generalizing and stereo-typing.
Nevermore ARE a much heavier (before DHIADW that is...!) than iced earth, and Nevermore are much more technical. But that is simply because Iced Earth aren't a Super-Heavy-Technical band. They play Heavy Metal. Nevermore play a sub-genre(s) of heavy metal.
Note: As much as i don't like ALL of Horror Show, it is a much better album than DHIADW. And it is much heavier, and is actually much-much-more technical.
you are very mistaken if you think that i kiss wd's ass. i wouldn't do that for no reason and esp. not to oppose to someone who supports ie. it is just that i have seen ie live and they were dressed like metallica and said things to show that metallica sold out, fuck trends and stuff like that which i hate and made themselves really looking very stupid in my eyes. if nvm do the same i will be the first to say that. do you know how much pain was it to hear the latest queensryche shit?
sanctuary do go on the way of priest and maiden but i didnot hear them saying fuck trends, fuck metallica etc. i don't esp like metallica - i never did - but i won't tolerate hypocricy. i wrote that before, i write it now.
and bear in mind that sanctuary brought intelligence in power metal.
concerning the comparisson between the two bands it is well inavetible. it is the result of this discussion.
