If you could be in a band, what sort would it be?

If you could be in a kick arse band of any type, what type would you most like it to be?

When I make up songs/riffs in my head, they're usually like The Haunted or Opeth. So...I'd probably like to be in a heavy thrash band. Rocking live like Slayer, The Haunted and Megadeth all have here in the last few years would be a good way to spend my life.

Now here's hoping this is a thread worthy of Trent's response.

I think my main band would be a rock band like The Hellacopters or The Donnas, and I'd have a side project that did lounge/jazz/blues stuff like early-mid Tom Waits.

I'd like to be in a 70s style album-oriented prog band known for its socially aware protest songs.

It wouldn't be a "band" in the strictest sense of the word, because I'd write/play/arrange/produce everything myself and then hire a session singer.

I would do stuff much along the same lines as Winny, but with a big percussion element and Also more New York hardcore in it as well...so a world music styled thrash/speed/motherfuckin' tear your head off shit down your fuckin neck/heavy as all fuck sorta band, that may describe it, failing that 3 or 4 musicians who can gel well and be truely mind blowing like Anything FNM or Tool or Dream Theater
