one thing is for sure, the tickets are fucking expensive
while one Wacken ticket costs about 60 euros one day on the festival costs similar!!!
maybe Norway and Iceland should join the EU?!
but the fishing grounds man, that´s a major obstacle...

Yes I agree with you that the tickets are really expensive, thats why Im waiting to see who will play when, to see if Im going to go more than one day...
I wouldnt mind seeing: CoB, Immortal, Taake and Ragnarok, if all of them play at the same day, I will only go one day.

I'd really like to make it to the Inferno Festival when I study abroad in Sweden next year. I'm sure I could get away from my studies to go to the festival. Can anyone please recommend any other good Scandinavian festivals that are generally worth attending? Links would be nice as well but not necessary. Any help is appreciated, as I'd like to make a plan of the festivals I plan to attend. I'd like to make it down to Germany and attend Wacken during the summer.

The Tuska Open Air Festival in Finland has some interessting acts too http://www.tuska-festival.fi
Also the Quart festival here in Norway tend to have some Metal bands playing http://www.quart.no

Probably going to the 2000 Decibel festival this year too
)I'm not sure about the Quart festival though, got sick of
listening to Kent last year! hehehe... Depends on what bands
they get, I'll probably just go for that one or two days they
have metalbands

Amon Amarth and Vintersorg are more than good enough reasons to go there!!!
Im not sure I wil be attending the Quart festival either, since Im not very keen on using alot of money just to see on or two bands...but if they get hold of a couple of good bands I will be going

Im not very much for camping either, at least not in a camping site, if its out in the calm woods, then I enjoy it.Yeah a get together sounds cool

Picking my day at Inferno based on the performances by Immortal, The Kovenant, CoB and Taake. To bad they haven't announced the dates for each band... as said already, the tickets is gone pretty fast...
Hopefully by tomorrow I will know if I fly or go by train & ferry... so I can finally book my hotel room...
My flight is booked, I know where to stay and my ticket is at Blackspirit's... I feel great... looking forward... hehehe... \m/
