I was in a shitty black metal for two weeks around 2000...

I did have a bit of a "true" militant ambient project going for a while, for which I recorded sounds during my last tour in Afganistan; mortars, heavy machine guns, artillery, heli's, etc. in order to use, for instance artillery bursts as "bass drums". Stuff like that. The project kind of died out, though. I might try to capture some more sound bites down there next year.

Also, speaking of shitty black metal bands, I started a 1 man black metal band that's more of a parody than anything just for shits and giggles. Instead of praising Satan, I praise meat.
