Not trying to start rumors or be an ass here. I noticed while perusing their site that it no longer contains a phone number for contact and the prices are very regularly way higher than normal. This does not sound good. Anyone know anything?

I've been ordering from them for years. Zane has never mentioned anything to me about this. As for the phone number I've always felt that the best way to get ahold of them is by Email.

As for me, even though they lowered a bit, the shipping costs to Canada are still WAY too expensive...

Cd Inzane is not closing. Last year, we started another online webshop not connect with CD Inzane. This year, there is another built as well, but will not mention those here.
Why the phone numbers were removed:
The phone numbers were removed to frankly "get some of our lives back". We had too many people working all over for us and the phone was ringing off the hook. Nightmare had done the same a few years back and for everyone, it was just BETTER for us to funnel everything through two email boxes to the girls to handle daily. With over 50 calls a day, we just stopped handling orders this way. I realize many like to call, check on an order, order something new and then talk music for 20-30 minutes. Sorry we do not have the capacity to continue that way, though we always enjoy the excellent talks with everyone
Two Price Points: We've always been about low price and shipping first come first served. Latest releases that have been coming out in Europe are not scheduled for U.S. release for over 60 days. This is evident with the new Gamma Ray DIGI and also the new Unisonic EP everyone is talking about. So have always bought some from Europe early at HIGH prices so that those customers could get it first. Then we have the lower priced version later for those who want it, but just don't want the pricing. NB Titles are still coming in and those DIGI's do run over $27.99 but we do have them in bulk quickly.

REFUNDS & DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE:
We offer a 30 day guarenteed return policy, issued to you in the form of an automated store credit Gift Certificate, good during any of your next visits to CDINZANE.com. This credit NEVER expires. We also allow all our customers an exchange on merchandise for all new and sealed merchandise if returned to us within 60 days from the time we have shipped, minus any DVD's outside of NTSC region #0 or #1 (See "DVD Return Policy" below). It is against the Recording Industry Laws for us to accept back opened pre-recorded music due to the amount of illegal transferring, copying or downloading. Items that are sent back opened are not accepted, will not be returned and will be disposed of. Items that are said defect but are not are also not accepted back. DVD Return Policy:

Keep in mind that because your NTSC (outside of region #0 or #1) or PAL DVD skips, glitches, looses sound but plays picture, or looses picture but plays sound are all circumstances that your player is not fully compatible. RETURN PROCESS:
Please send an email to: sales@cdinzane.com if you have a return. All returns must arrive here within 30 days from the ship date, as listed in your user profile. Items arriving damaged back to us also will not be accepted and you cannot return these for any refund or exchange with our company. Make sure you receive an RA# PDF in your e-mail box after contacting us. Simply print it off and return it with your return. Only order returned in boxes will be accepted. Any orders returned in a bubble mailer will be returned as bubble mailers damage our product.
SHIPPING METHODS & INSURANCE:
During checkout, you may choose the way you wish to ship. We recommend FED EX with tracking and insurance. This protects your shipments from loss, theft or damage done by the courier. Please note that we do not have information on your order once the courier (USPS/FED EX) picks up your package from our company. PREORDERS:
Preorders ship first preordered, first shipped and upon arrival from the label to us. Preorders should be ordered on a separate invoice and with release dates no more than 10 days apart. As a rule, if you preorder any two titles with more than 10 days apart on the same invoice, there usually will be a delay. This includes titles that have release dates changed from their licensing labels original schedule. Inventory that is off in our system and titles that suddenly go out of stock will be backordered and shipped when the next shipment comes in and in the order your order stands in line.
