Is it possible for a person to mention a single Christopher Guest movie

HEY LISTEN IF YOU LIKE THAT ONE MOVIE HE DID A FEW OTHERS JUST LIKE IT THAT ARE REALLY FUNNY TOO, JUST MAKIN SURE YOU KNEW ABOUT THEM, WOULDN'T WANT YOU TO MISS OUT

x

yeah my experience is that all of a sudden you have to rank your favorites. like:

"a mighty wind was awesome"

"well i would say waiting for guffman was the best, followed by best in show, and then a mighty wind."

i don't think it is exclusive to christopher guest movies though. i mean everytime i bring up how much i love Spaceballs around my roomate he HAS to mention that it is nowhere near as funny as "Blazing Saddles."

or if i mention "Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back" then he HAS to mention that it is not anywhere as genius as "Clerks."

that type of stuff.

"dood, that new Eugene Levy film looks awesome! with those Full House chicks? they're HOTTT. i totally knew from his first film American Pie he'd be huge!"

"uh huh."

"what's an sctv?"

i love the american pie movies.

toby: sorry. :(

the bottom line is that i get annoyed when anyone feels the need to tell me my personal favorite of a specific director's movies is off because of some earlier movie that since it was older has more impact and is therefore more of a classic.

yeah, but all it shows is a level of informedness comparable to showing off that you are pretty sure you know the name of the current President of the United States.

Whenever people talk about either movies or sport I just tune out because I don't know anything about either.

except movies that have been rerun on Comedy Central since 1995...I know all those by heart, and stuff they play every Thanksgiving like Willow and Back to the Future.
