Italian dudes - translation help please :D (ebay fiasco)

So I sold a car stereo to a dude in Italy, and now he's bitching about the shipping prices, despite a) agreeing to pay them when I told him in advance, and b) him insisting I include insurance, which of course is gonna raise the cost too (though at least by only ~$4.50). So I sent him this message defending myself:

Wait, I'm not sure I understand - after you won the item, you had asked me before I sent it how much shipping + insurance would be, and I said $50, which you agreed to. I then sent you the total invoice, you paid $210 ($160+$50), and when the box arrived, you must have seen the label on it that said $50.70 for shipping? And here are pictures of the receipt and customs form:

I know high prices suck, but seeing as how I did everything you asked, and charged exactly what was required and nothing more (not to mention packed the item to be almost bombproof), I would appreciate it if you'd leave me positive feedback, and I'll of course do the same for you!


And if someone could translate it into respectable, curse-free Italian (just so I can really hammer the point home :D), I'd be eternally grateful!
 
There is a possibility the italian border caught your package and made him pay another tax since it was sent from the US.
It happened to me when I was in europe and I had to pay a 30% tax or they wouldn't give me the package...
That's probably why this guy is complaining !
 
Sucks for him, but not my problem - hopefully ebay will agree!

And how bout Michele, Mao, etc. helpin' a buddy out here? :D
 
Yup, it happens all the time with items of all sizes sent from outside the European Union.
That's a bad habit italian customs have.
There's no way to get around it since the additional pricing is a lot of the times very random and it's open to interpretations by the customs themselves.

I'm sorry that your client don't seem to understand this circumstance.
