Opera IX maybe? I don't like them, but maybe you will. Check the reviews on Metal-Archives. I've been hearing great things about Necromass as well.

The best in my opinion is either Mortuary Drape or Bulldozer followed by Death SS, Necrodeath and Electrocution.

the *ed bands are essential, IMO the rest are good. that should be enough for now. let me know if you need more.

I think they are neither. Lacuna Coil is the most well known band from Italy. As for the best, I really can't decide.
