Daylight Dies Kinda hard to get into imo. But they are growing on me.

Yes they have bored me too but lately ive have discovered myself enjoying their tunes quite a bit. Like i said, hard to get into.

Very, very obscure? Well... They do mix other styles with the doom style, but I don't know if they're THAT obscure... Everything is relative I guess. Good band non the less.

Another old classic band that has alot of doomy tunes but usually not seen as a doom-metal band is of course Amorphis. If you somehow have missed them, check out their early stuff.

The newest Daylight Dies is their best, imo. I can't imagine finding them boring...

Well, their melodies are a bit monotonous and a bit hard to distinguish from eachother, i guess that is why some ppl find them boring.

I have "Slow Transcending Agony" by this band and it is AMAZING. The track "L'ateraxie" pretty much dominates ridiculously.
