It's Friday. Tomorrow is Halloween. What are your plans?

It's somewhat sad and somewhat rad that I've been choosing to spend my Friday nights at home alone. A rather peculiar feeling, being too tired and spent to make the most of the free night, but feeling guilty for wasting a potentially awesome night. But I have Iron Man on DVD at home and I've never seen it. Plus I have to wake up fairly early on Saturday and I rocked pretty hard last night. So I think I can chill out tonight guilt free.

Tomorrow, I'm getting a new truck. It's actually sort of sad, to be honest. The truck I have now is the only vehicle I've ever had in my entire life. Ive been driving it for almost 12 years now and it's been the most dependable vehicle I've ever seen. But it's old and tired and even though it still runs well, it's days are definitely numbered. I found a great deal on the same kind of truck, a couple years newer with 130,000 less miles than my current one. The best part is the new one has air conditioning! Hell yes!

I'm not doing shit for Halloween. I have to do my radio show alone since Steve will be off opening for Ratt with his cover band. It's also daylight savings time this weekend which means at 2am on Sunday, when the radio show is supposed to be over, the clocks go back to 1am, essentially adding a 4th hour to our show. It's going to be a long lonely boring night at work while everyone else in the world is partying. Typing that sentence makes me think maybe I SHOULD go out tonight. Hmmm.

Sunday, no plans. If it's dry outside I think I will get more acquainted with my new longboard and old camera.

I'm spending today cleaning up a nasty as hell back yard which half of is standing in water. The other half is standing in unnecessarily large piles of junk that should have been thrown away months ago. Can't make anyone do anything though. Every time we clean the back yard for a party it's like watching an episode of Hoarders when the cleaning crew comes in. Derick and I were gonna go to a Bat Castle show tonight, but will probably just go to dinner at Vito's instead. Yum yum yum!

Tomorrow, with any luck, we will be having our Halloween party.

I have no plans for the entire weekend haha, I'm so sore from all the muay thai, lifting and kung fu stuff I did this week and even though partying would maybeee be cool but I didn't really think about halloween this year at all so last night I drank beer and watched band dvds and today I'll probably just lift and then play the new grand theft auto and drink beer. Hella variety huh.

Stupid bike fags blocked traffic downtown, plus the bridge going east from SF starting falling apart and they shut it down, so the traffic on the Golden Gate Bridge (which I must take to get where I am now) was ridiculous and it took FOREVER to get here. Tomorrow we're hanging out with a couple friends and getting fucked up in costumes, although unfortunately some unsavory people were invited. :Smug:

My one friend has a fancy camera so hopefully there will be awesome pictures of the festivities up soon.

dude yeah the bridge thing really fucked shit up, they've been running extra bart trains which has in turn fucked up some of the regular schedules and there have been other problems and shit which makes it really lame. The only cool thing is supposedly they're running bart 24 hours this weekend. I can't believe you actually made it across the golden gate, since bart hasn't been that crowded I can't even imagine how ridiculous the traffic must be.

It's not sad that you chose a quite night in, Kev! I did the same thing last night. Took it easy with a nice sushi-dinner and caught up on my recorded shows.
I went to this awesome Halloween party at a down-town club the night before, so much like you, I needed the rest (before tonoght's partttyyy!)

How do you like your new truck ? I totally understand the feeling of getting rid of something that was yours and served you for 12 years (wow thats a long time for a car) but you will soon forget it and enjoy the AC in the new truck! woohoo

ah this Halloween is great,

first got sleep until 11am hmm...nice

then a friend from far i havent seen in like a year came by and we drank some coffee.

after that i got on my motorcycle and ride for like three hours or something and got my mind of the stress of daily life.

after got a dinner at my parents, yay finally good food (boerenkool if you dont know what it is look it up at google pictures or something)

now im here on my pc, and in 30min i'll go to the cinema with almost all my friends to a Halloween special night 3 movies in a row:
first: Triangle
then: Martyrs
and last: Face

cant wait to see these movies!!
and offcourse drink lots of Belgium special beer
