Got the new ND in hand (I had to wait until it was out this time to listen) and just like the last album i'm already hooked. Over and over again I spin the cd and every time it gets better like the last cd.. in fact, I think each song pretty much gets progressively better until the incredibly powerful last track.. WOW! Christ, freaking heavy, and not as in Br00tal.
This isn't a review, since I only review albums that I give FULL time apprciate, but I can already say this album sounds absolutely MASSIVE. The production is better than ever. Especially good on my new setup. Some really dark and heavy moments on this cd, but balanced by the powerful sad songs. 3rd song is almost downright brutal deathmetal!
Anyway, i'm very pleased thus far. For me, it's hard to top Pale Haunt, but time will tell. It's just so great to see such a consistent band. Each album is undeniably Novembers Doom in sound, but each album is also so different in their own right.
