I'm against all religions but that is no way to host a radio show. I don't give a shit about whether its his style, but he can't simply pidgeonhole all Muslims and then attack the caller in that way and come off as a professional in my eyes.

Of course Islam doesn't condone such actions. Just like in any religion, there exist self-professed followers who are in truth just bullshitting themselves by malpractice, the case applies here. People get stirred up by some rabble-rouser to fight in the name of "enter religion or cult here" and believe they're doing the right thing because of a lack of education, intelligence and sense of direction. If anything, its the leaders who instigate such actions for ulterior motives who use the name of their religion as a facade who are to blame. Where have we seen this before? Christianity was the culprit during the Crusades and now we are seeing the same kind of action with Islam. Islam itself is being marred by people who grapple onto it with blood on their hands, but I'm certain that its philosophy doesn't condone such actions and one shouldn't blame the religion in this case, but the contorted impression being given to its followers.

Again, I am not trying to defend Islam because I have any affiliation to it, but the point remains that one must distinguish between an ideology and those who practice it. Communism anyone?
