I like beef jerky.
I kinda figured he wouldn't be doing it if he wasn't mastering. He is really good about suggesting changes and such, and when I had a few suggestions he was more than willing to try them out. Highly recommended.

I'm interested in mixing choir and synth's on last Symphony X album (Underworld). Also guitar tone is really killer, so some tips on that tone would be nice also.

The Stabbing The Drama snare sound being mostly trigger mics is 8-O One of my favorite snare sounds for sure. Most of my favorite productions have weird drum sounds on them though.

I still go back and read this thread from time to time. It's gold. One question I always had though, he's talked a lot about alternate amps and things like that on certain records, does anyone know if he's a fan of quad-tracking, or does he like to run a splitter and record two different amps for blending, but still just record two tracks of rhythm??
