1. Johan is a Project Manager now.
2. He still plays and teaches bass.
3. He is no longer affiliated with the Kristdemokraterna.

I liked the more lead-oriented bass playing on Orchid and Morningrise, but Mendez's sound fits the band far better, in my opinion. I do wish Mendez had more bass leads, though. However, I respect the simple approach to the bass lines on the mellow stuff (like Damnation). I don't think I've ever heard a metal band with such a tight rhythm section.
