Yeah, it's really stupid being able to hold your phone they way you like without dropping calls.

The Super-AMOLED display is the shit (and the future). It's basically as sharp and defined as the iPhone display (there's maybe a 5% difference - max.) while draining soooo much less battery..

What do you mean? The iPhone's metal rim disrupts the signal so the calls get cut off or what?

Anyway, I'm pretty sold on a i9000 Galaxy S already despite what people think about Samsung being a shitty budget brand. They've become leaders in their field this last couple of years so I don't think the old "budget" quality applies any longer to Samsung. The memory chips in graphics cards and RAM memories are mostly from Samsung if I'm not mistaken? They do a lot of shit

I have no qualms with Samsung, in fact - I'm on here with a Samsung laptop right now.

Well I just recently started reading up on mobile phones because I haven't cared for years. And I was actually comparing the i9000 Galaxy S to the iPhone 3Gs not iPhone 4. I knew iPhone 4 had problems and I don't even count that one as a phone
