You were visiting me for some weird reason in Italy, along with many of my other past friends, and we were all hanging out in a field somewhere for some reason and they all started turning into vampires. It was then that I found out that we were vampire hunters and we slayed them all...very gory stuff. It shoulda been in a movie. I then brought you to Marco Polo airport in Venice and sent you back home.

You were also wearing that plaid mini skirt and black long sleeve that you had on in your wine festival pics. I remember you were very calm and relaxed as you sliced and butchered your way through the army of my former friends-turned-vampires.

It was weird, but it kicked ass.

hahahaha!!!
Wow, this might explain why I felt so drained this morning when I got up!

Tell me.... how many vamps did I slay?

funny dream ;)

A few hundred or so. I remember that we had to split up because they were taking over everything and we had to kill them from both ends of the area. I had to go and protect some innocent people and keep the vamps from infecting them, and when I got back, there were just chunks of flesh and bone on the ground. You were sitting down on a blanket having a picnic, eating a sandwich with body parts lying all around by the time I got back. You had this, "Is that all?" expression on your face.

It was awesome. It reminded me of the book I Am Legend, if you've ever read it.

hhahahaha, I love it!
me in a picnic eating a sandwich sounds 100% like something I'd do.
Not sure about the "is that all" comment... OR MAYBE!
MUHAHAHA!

The sadness troubled me. It wasn't like you realize it was a dream and get over it. The feelings I had in this dream were so lifelike, and it literally felt like I was saying goodbye to a good friend forever. When I woke up, it was kinda surreal because I had to remember where I was.

My entire day has been melancholy because of that dream. It's so weird how fictional dreams can affect your real emotions. It sounds silly, I know, but I can't 'splain it.

Why? I've had really surreal dreams before where I actually thought the actions had occurred, and when I spoke to someone about said event, they were like, "Dude, what the fuck are you talking about?"

I got in a shitload of trouble one time when I was a kid because I dreamed my Mom said something really fucked up and when I told someone about it, it got back to her and she was like, "WTF?" But at the time, I could've sworn it had happened.

Sometimes dreams can be pretty strong.

I just did a quick online analysis of this dream and it apparently would be considered an "epic" dream, whereas it's so real and lifelike that you can remember it for years and can be a life-changing experience. I then checked out the vampires part of it and it basically said that you feel that someone or something is draining you of your life essence, your spirit, or is causing much stress.

The only thing I can think of is that my side project is starting to become a huge pain in my ass and everyone's acting like a bunch of fuckin' babies and it's the reason I quit the original band in the first place...maybe that's draining me....dunno.

I love epic dreams. However, I feel people read way too much into the symbolism, like the instance of vampires and draining influence in your real life. I usually write down all my highlight dreams. I haven't been remembering many at all lately due to lots of smoking and dead sleep because I'm busy all the fucking time and constantly tired.

K lady Is in all our dreeeeams.......

For you my Sweet

I didn't know what day it was
When you walked into the room
I said hello unnoticed
You said goodbye too soon

Breezing through the clientele
Spinning yarns that were so lyrical
I really must confess right here
The attraction was purely physical

I took all those habits of yours
That in the beginning were hard to accept
Your fashion sense, Beardsly prints
I put down to experience

The big bosomed lady with the dutch accent
Who tried to change my point of view
Her ad lib lines were well rehearsed
But my heart cried out for you

Chorus:

You're in my heart, you're in my soul
You'll be my breath should i grow old
You are my lover, you're my best friend
You're in my soul

My love for you is immeasurable
My respect for you immense
You're ageless, timeless, lace and fineness
You're beauty and elegance

You're a rhapsody, a comedy
You're a symphony and a play
You're every love song ever written
But honey what do you see in me

(chorus)

You're an essay in glamour
Please pardon the grammar
But you're every schoolboy's dream
You're celtic, united, but baby I've decided
You're the best team I've ever seen

And there have been many affairs
Many times I've thought to leave
But i bite my lip and turn around
'cause you're the warmest thing i've ever found

hahah that's fucking awesome.

reminds me of this dream i had a while ago about zombies attacking (i have a lot of zombie attack dreams, actually) where i was, in the midst of fighting my way through a big crowd of zombies with the band of survivors, facing off against this zombie woman and i managed to tear her jaw off and just started hacking at her skull with it.

yeah, i hate when that happens. i always have these dreams about the "perfect" plot for a story, or finding this ultra-rare book or movie or something, then i wake up and just get really bummed out and can never remember the plot.

Is "I Am Legend" an essential read?
so i've heard. I love Last Man on Earth, the Vincent Price movie based on the book, so i'm keeping my eyes open for a cheap copy of the book ... so it can go in the pile of all the other cheap books i buy and never getting around to reading.

matheson is such an amazing writer, though. i might daresay his son, Richard Christian Matheson, is even better. check that guy out!
