Lacuna Coil US Tour...w/guests Within Temptation!

I bought my ticket at lunch today to see them May 30th here in Spokane, WA. The press release that went to the local crap-metal station advertized Within Temptation as the opener but I can't find any supporting evidence on the internet. In fact, all the evidence I can find points to TG being the openers by the time they reach my area. Oh-well, I'd much rather see WT but I'm not going to complain when a real metal show is coming to this town. Most decent acts bypass Spokane and I have to trek over to Seattle to see them. Except Queensryche. They seem to be here every three weeks or so.

Hell yeah! There's two of them actually. There's one on the West Side (less metal friendly) and there's another on the East Side (more metal friendly). I stop as I drive through Knoxville at least once a month. It's cool that you know about them! :kickass:

% I've never been there / they tell me it's nice... % :heh:

Actually, I know about the place (probably the more metal-friendly one) from Derek / Ruthven, a friend on this forum. :headbang:

That explains it! I'm probably going in and buying the stuff Ruthven trades in then! Pellaz, you need to come up visit KnoxVegas and attend the WT/LC show. Tickets go on sale today at 12:00PM! :kickass:

LMAO
you are crazy, did I tell you that? :p
But...good for you. I will be very jealous! hahahah good luck and enjoy :kickass:

doh. They're going back overseas during their mini break. Montreal it is. Pretty weird to do some US shows, go back to Europe for just under 2 weeks, and then fly back to the US. Would think that would be ridiculously expensive to pull off.

To Myself I Turned

I was born in another world
strictly connected to a piece of my mind
nothing more than a little land
it is a small cradle where I'm a kid
I am the princess in there,
nothing wrong in my fantasy world

I am the king, the nation,
no dictators or religions
no laws laid down for me
I have my own liberty inside of me
nothing to lose, I want to live here

As you see I'm the only survivor in this land

When did I hear this wind before
change like this to a deeper roar?
I'm starting to bleed another way
I just need some time to complete myself

these spotlights are here again
I can't see anything, I'm blind
this nature of time and space
makes me sick of the situation

I couldn't know if I...
if I will be strong enough for this
I have to choose, do I want to live here?

Dude, you probably don't want the stuff I've traded in there.

As many times as I've been to Knoxville, I don't know which is "East Side" or "West Side," however, I tend to have better luck at the location near the Sunsphere. Generally nicer people there, too. One of the salesclerks who works at that location is a metal fan, so she's always cool to talk to.

Incidentally, I ordered my ticket and am waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I'll be wearing a Last Dance t-shirt. I have high hopes for this show.

What's up Derek? You're going to the East side store then. The west store is located on Kingston Pike, which doesn't seem to have as much metal. I'll look for you then, because they'll be very few people there with WT shirts on. I'm hoping they've brought some over with them. :kickass: Most likely I'll be wearing a Savatage shirt and there won't be too many of them there either! LOL...

BTW, if you've bought a lot of "how in the world did they get this?!?" oddities at DE, they probably originally came from the collection of my friend Paul (aka "the other Paul"). Guy's one of those long-time metal fans and plays guinea pig on a lot of bands. Some work for him, others don't. He takes a lot of stuff there. Me and him go up there once every couple of months and get hundreds of dollars in credit.

Anyway, I'll keep a look out for the Sava shirt, I suspect that the people wearing, shall we say, "unorthodox" shirts are probably going to wind up finding each other. I'll also try to be as close to the stage as possible during Stolen Babies. Band is going to freak people out but will rock.
