at the official site it says
"As the rain keeps falling...."

but when i hear it it sounds like
"As the rain keeps forward..."

(i don't have the album, so maybe it's written in the booklet, i dunno  )

are you sure?!?!?!

cuz i don't hear the "ing"
and it really sounds like
"...keeps forwaaard"

well i think you're wrong!

maybe it's written "Falling"
but he's defintly singing "Forward"!!!!!!!

:p :p :p

metal music still retains the rocknroll habit of mumbling. it IS "falling", but mikael slurs the "L" sound and fades out before enunciating the "ing"

i've listen to it again and again

and figured that it depends on what you are trying to hear
if you are expecting to hear "Forward" you will hear forward
and if you are expacting to hear "Falling" that's what you'll hear....

try it

It's falling and nothing else, the fact is that it's pronounced with the 'g' sound like fallin' . Man, I'm sure of it it's the best termination ever for a cd !!!

I have an Opeth shirt and on the back of it it has the picture that's on the back of Orchid and under that it has the lines "Through the eternal flame I travel ... As the rain keeps falling." ... it's definately falling.

Well, there ya go....he has a shirt. ;) CLOSED CASE!

:::wipes hands clean sarcastically:::

Actually, I know he's saying "As the rain keeps falling." But what I hear every time is "Assterain keeps follow." I know he's not actually saying ass-terain, but it's funny to sing along incorrectly.

Its like the "clouds gathered across the moon" and "How can you trust the moon" on "In Mist she was standing"....

if you listen to it expecting "how can you trust the moon" it sounds exactly like that !

but you just cant say "keeps forward", it doesnt makes any sense....especially when its about rain
