nope. i moved here from Nuneaton (home of Britains first condom machine) when i came to study Politics and International realations at Coventry university.

Yeah, the Dog's where all the metal/goth kids from my school used to hang out. Plenty of Coal Chamber on the sound system. Keep an eye on the Colosseum nightclub in Hillfields, they do rock nights and live gigs.
It's been a while since I went out locally. If you look in the liner notes to COF's "Cruelty and the Beast", you'll see a thank-you from Nick Barker to "Hoagy and the Coventry pack" - they were a goth gang that all had lip rings and used to spend a lot of time in the Dog.
