Let's start an online Nevermore street team

We should have these things on the site:

-A place to "register" as a member of the team and a place to see the profiles of other members. Later we could have it so you could log in and do stuff only members could do... I don't know what that would be but we could think of something

-Sound files for people just checking out Nevermore and who want to hear what they sound like(We should ask Nevermore for permission first of course)

-A Place where you can look at diffrent flyers to promoting their most recent CD, print them, xerox, and post them everywhere. We could also have flyers for concerts too.

- Info on the band, bio, discography, pictures, yada yada, you know so people checking out nevermore for the first time can get the full scoop!

- News area, which would latter become the newsletter

- The message board could just be a link to this one

-Nevermore related Links

Anything I missed? Anything to improve on?

What is with the triple post?
Well I say anyone who wants to make art for the page should and I will try and use it. Try to make the art work together so it has a universal look to it. You know what I mean. Using certain colors blah blah blah.

So far my vote would go for Electric Religion

I was thinking of having the Nevermore band icon (if WD and co. allow it) or the name of the street team in the middle of a whirlpool of water and smoke. Could we animate it?

But the grammar sounds fucked up in "We are the dog." Maybe it's just me... I think "We" unites us enough, but that's jmho.

Century Bleedia? I'd rather just deal with the band members myself. The "label people" suck for the most part imo. This isn't about profit, it is about getting the word out about my favorite (and most of yours as well) band NEVERMORE.

If the band does decide to have some interaction, we could send out studio updates in the email newsletter as well. Just a thought.

I know WD checks this site out habitually, so I bet he'll see this thread and make some sort of comment...whether it is positive or not who knows exactly. All I know is that he was cool in Old Bridge NJ when I saw them perform this past Sept and Wallet Boy told me he met him after a show in VA at Jaxx and he was also extremely nice.

My interest in contacting the label had to do with their connection to metal fans - they obviously must have some sort of mailing list and could help "spread the word" too. a . I just thought it might be cool for random metalheads to get snail regarding Nevermore, and they might be more willing to check them out. I get so many "junk" emails, I tend to trash them. But maybe that's just me. I also think about people, yes there have to be some, who don't have computers or access to one regularly. I'm not trying to be negative, just adding an idea....
Sure I'd love the word spread, but I'd also like these guys to get some payback for what they do - half these bands don't earn 1/100 of what they deserve.
The band needs a US fanclub, I've spoken to Warrel extensively about it, but I don't think he's interested.
