Earforce One
Fvcking brutal. Really does sound the way it does in Lasse's clips. I have the 50 watt KT88 model, one channel only. The distortion is tight and clear, and insanely brutal. It does have a pronounced presence which some people may not like, but that can be dialed out rather easily. Has a bit of vocally growl to it, sorta like an uberschall. Eats every other high gain amp I've played in person.

Soldano Hot Rod 50 (Depth Mod)
I really like this one. It is a bit muddier than the earforce, this one likes a tubescreamer in front of it, but it still has a lot of balls and clarity. Difficult to describe, I'd say its somewhat similar to the earforce, but it's clarity is lower, and it's presence/high treble is more subdued. The mids are also emphasized differently. Great amp, and for the price (I got mine used for 1350) it should be seriously considered by anyone wanting a good solid metal rhythm machine.

Laney GH100TI - for sale
The tony iommi signature. Really thick and saturated sounding - suits slower metal (old school heavy metal or doom, for example). Fairly middy, but not in a honky way. It has a nice looseness to it that suits some kinds of music in a way that the soldano and earforce just don't quite. They're too tight. I would like to try blending this with the earforce and playing modern death/doom stuff.

Marshall 2555 Silver Jubilee Clone
I actually built this one myself, from a kit from ceriatone. Sounds great, I use it for judas priest type stuff or blues/other non-metal. That said, it also shines for lead guitar sounds for metal. I absolutely love the creamy smoothness of this amp when dialed in right. Not a bassy amp at all, in fact I might call it a bright amp.

Fender 1969 Silverface Twin Reverb
Absolutely godly for clean tones. Bright switch off, treble 7 middle 6 bass 4 on a neck P90 in a les paul... and it is just such a beautiful sound. I actually didn't know how nice clean electrics could sound until I had this amp (I used to think mesa cleans sounded good, for example, which they do, but not like this).

VHT GP3 - for sale
The preamp from the Fryette/VHT pittbull ultra lead and clx amps. Great unit. I just have too much gear so i'm looking to sell it though

Coming Soon
Bogner Uberschall and Laboga Mr Hector Clones :)

So many people with multiple amps... Guess if I didn't play drums and guitar I'd put more money into amps.

I just have a Mesa Mark V and a 2x12 recto cab (older one) I'll be trying to upgrade my cabinet to a 4x12 and maybe pick up a JSX or 6505 sometime soon though...

peavey 6505+ - 'nuff said already here

krank rev jr 20w - i originally purchased this amp new, and loved it for its ability to dish out a wide range of tones...either by manipulating the amount of gain on the kleen channel, or by fucking with the sweep knob on the krank channel. i then sold it to fund the 6505+ purchase, but found out pretty quick that the peaveys really are pretty limited in their range, so i re-bought the krank and am pretty pumped at what i can pull off between the 2 of them

i also used to own an ampeg vl-1002...i absolutely loved the tone of that thing, was a straight-up marshall on steroids type of sound, and was also the loudest thing i've ever heard. running it into a marshall 4x12 hit 127db RMS on a db meter, but unfortunately i had to ditch it because it had some serious reliability issues.

Hy guys can you edit your posts like this for much clarity
thanks you in advance
EXAMPLE

Baron Custom Amps K2- A very interesting amp that is really aggressive and bitey, yet round and solid on the low end. This amp has zero fizz and tons of balls with a unique gain structure that is usable throughout the entire range.

ENGL Fireball E635 (100 w): For its price, it is definitely not a bad amp, if you want a modern tone and you're into the specific kind of tone ENGL creates. It's cheaper than a Pball (I'm speaking of Pball 1) and I think it sounds even better. I have experience in playing and recording a Pball of a friend and it got owned by the Fireball big time.

Peavey 6505+ : One of my favourite amps so far, really good amp for not a lot of money. I definitely like it more than the Fireball. It just sounds really awesome/compressed the way I like it.

Mesa Boogie Roadster: Probably my number 1 amp, from clean to high gain, this amp owns everything else I already owned and played with. It does need a tubescreamer for tightness imo for your high gain stuff, but it's a perfect combination.

Krank Krankenstein prototype: The first Krankensteins ever made, only 14 models of this amp were made, I bought it from ex Fear Factory member Christian Olde Wolbers. Actually, I'm not a big fan of this amp, I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with it, since it changes color when I change volume. This makes it really hard to tune in, although it can sound pretty good too. I can't comment on how other Krank amps sound like.

EVH 5150 (III): I just bought this amp and it kicks serious ass, I even think the clean tone is pretty good for a modern/high gain amp. The crunch/second channel is great too. Probably me number two amp, although it comes really close to how awesome my Mesa Roadster is. This could become my number one amp! I Just need some more time with it. I especially like the fact it doesn't start to sound harsh after playing a long amount of time. It maybe lacks a bit of agression/bite but the overall sound is so incredibly good!

Engl E530 + Rocktron Velocity:
My practice rig for a time, I like the tightness of the Engl, but it's a bit flat and one dimensional compared to my tube amp. Maybe a tube poweramp could solve this?

Jet City JCA100HDM:
Can go from rock to metal with a very wide, bit loose sound. Becomes a lot tighter with a boost in front and the 50 watt/ 100 watt is a nice addition, as is the depth knob. The distortion channel of this amp is based on the Soldano SLO100.

Some things I forgot:
Line 6 POD XT Pro:
I use this for monitoring in the studio.

Epiphone 25 watt ss combo:
Simple practise amp... should be somewhere on the attic. I use this when I test my self made FX pedals or after a guitar mod. Just in case something goes wrong, I'd rather distroy this unit than one of my decent amps.

Jet City JCA20h:
20 watt head that started the JCA love for me. Simple lay-out, 1 channel, sweet distortion and handles pedals well.

And a new addition:
Peavey 6505+ 112 combo:
Finally I'm in the 6505 ballpark! I like the stock speaker pretty much, but in the end I'm gonna turn this unit into a head.

edit: Amps I have owned: Marshall 9100, Marshall VS100 head, Peavey Windsor head, Laney 4x12 cab, Carlsbro tube head, Behringer V-amp 1 and 2, Line 6 POD and POD XT, Aria 15 watt combo.

I only have a 6505+ and a Mesa Recto 4x12 right now.
I have allready played lots of the amps you guys listed though, and I have access to a Blackstar HT-5 and the Anvil Preamps from Andies zeugs (which sound pretty nice with the poweramp of my peavey).

Pretty sure my next amp will be a Mark V, Earforce 2 or Diezel Hagen. Haven't made up my mind completly about that though

oh yeah, and for quite some time I played through a digitech metalmaster into a marshall tsl602 combo...sounds as awefull as it reads lol
the tsl also isn't exactly the kind of marshall tone I like.

peavey 5150 Block Letter I saw Van halen live in 1994 and Eddie was laughing throughout the whole show. I now see why. This amp just makes you happy. Period. I had a block letter since 1994, sold when someone spilled beer on it and rebought one recently and am as happy as can be. It even has the original Sylvania tubes. Not only do they sound incredible but they are rated for 10,000 hours of use! I guess they don't make them like they used to. Through the recto 4 x 12 with a tube screamer in front its a thing of beauty.

Mesa triple rectifier 2 channel blackface Another classic. Tight, huge sounding, incredible highs. The highs go higher than any amp I have ever heard, its like part of the sound is coming from the ceiling. Makes you feel closer to God. Grinding mids and a huge bottom. My main amp ATM. I have used a 3 channel triple and it is tragic what was done to those amps when the 3rd channel was added.

Rivera Knucklehead kr-100 I have the 6l6 version, although you can put any tube in there. It has a fizz circuit that I have been trying to get modded but cant find the schematics. Rivera has not sent them to me after repeated attempts. Without this fizz the amp would be more usable. Otherwise it feels like a can of bees was opened up. The bass is huge and tight. Really needs to be cranked for it to deliver the goods. I mean beyond band practice levels. Does not pair well with the mesa oversize cab. needs a regular cab. Likes g12t-75's. Sounds great in a 1 guitar scenario but gets lost in the mix with a second guitar in there. Very versatile amp however. it's really built for an arena. (Edit) Ended up trading it, could not gel with it.

vht cl 50 This thing will be heard and cuts like crazy. Aptly named the pittbull because it barks agressively. Mids are very strong and have to be dialed out with the eq, otherwise ear fatigue sets in quickly. a tight and dry amp for sure.

Added a Blackstar HT-20H to my collection a while ago. Got it mostly as a backup/rehearsal amp but i've been enjoying this one a lot so far. Paired with the new mesa 2x12, this thing can get some really nice aggressive tones with a nice chunky low end. I find it's more suited for hard rock styles more than hardcore brutal metal, but with the right guitar it's still versatile enough and has plenty of gain to go in metal territory IMO.
