You know I didn't think too much of Alexi's weight until I saw these videos. I know some people who just walk around at near to no body fat, but they're fine and full of energy. Alexi barely fucking moves on the stage, has his guitar up high, and just looks like he's about to keel over. I thought part of the reason for removing Roope was to re-energize the band but Alexi just fucking stands there when he's not singing.

I don't want to speculate too much but hopefully he doesn't have some kind of major disease or something that he's keeping private. It's like he's just out of a hospital bed and straight to the stage...

Well, Roope skipped half of the band practices. Daniel is pretty energetic on stage and has the right looks. Alexi's been looking pretty skeletal recently, yeah. He should eat some avocados, nuts and so on. Don't know why he has no appetite.

I haven't seen a lot of live videos the last couple of years but dude, Alexi is just a skeleton and doesn't move.

I know that we fans can't do shit about this or investigate more but I'm really worried of a tour cancel or something in the next weeks or so...

Sure, in 2016, 2015, 2014... he looked better and better, but in the 2019 worst.

I don't think it's psychological. He's been depressed and suicidal before right? He never looked like this and to me more importantly he never behaved like this on the stage. The live shows were always important to him but he just fucking stands there like he's barely alive. I'm not a doctor but my suspicion is it has to be some kind of illness.

Compared to the current state, yes. But "his normal self" this (for me):
~2011-2012 for example

She started to lose weight in 2013, but she looked good even more than in 2019.

I don't think he's too unhealthy from 2013-2018. He started losing weight, yeah, but 5 years is a long time. That could just be because he stopped drinking and partying as much. In that end of 2018 vid he still had meat around his arms, and looked like he had energy to interact with the crowd and Janne like he always did. But since then it looks like he lost all of the muscle on his body. It's a drastic change for a short period of time.

Maybe he doesn't have any illness and he's eating very little but you'd have to starve yourself to lose that much weight.

Yeah you can see on Daniels insta that he is eating good and also goes to Gym's, why he doesnt get Alexi to at eat...?

Hard to think what it could be. You'd think his issue would be sorted, be it mental or metabolical. It seems mindboggling why they'd let him go anorexic. It's no wonder people think about cancer, as all the other causes are treatable... lack of testosterone, overactive thyroid, depression, stress, loss of taste... maybe that ulcer issue of late is worse than we thought and it hurts him to eat, but there's ways around that too... I think it could be body image dysmorphia, or maybe he's just Alexi and doesn't give a fuck... but it's not natural not to feel hunger. Maybe some digestion illness... Maybe he's got a tapeworm...?

I don't mean to sound funny, I just wish good on the guy. I actually think he appears more mentally balanced than ever before, he's more real than he used to be, maybe slightly distant or tired sometimes, tho. But life's not always easy, terrible things happen at times. It's perfectly possibly to lose all appetite and interest in being anything other than your true self in social situations, when a tragedy happens, such as heartbreak or death of mother, etc.

^I didn't take the talk about Alexi's weightloss seriously before, but yeah, zero movement during that song. He's a shadow of his past self physically, plays and sings the songs but that's it. It's like he has nausea.

It looks like he can't even lift his guitar without using all of his energy at the end of the video... You can also see in those videos that his movements are really really slow. I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel their last shows.

The shows are getting shorter and shorter, as well. According to setlist, the most recent shows stop at 12 songs.
