lol

In Italy, all the keyboardists love all the same groups...it's like they're a carbon copy of each other. They all love Dream Theater, Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, Nightwish, Europe, and Sonata Arctica. Usually just those bands,.
not going to lie I liked or still like all of those bands to an extent  not boring at all tbh.

but been listening to a lot of Ayreon and Tarot lately and both bands keyboards are tastefully done, Ayreon made me love the sound of a Hammond where as before i really didn't see the appeal.

Nothing wrong with liking those bands, not one bit! I like them all too. I was just saying that those bands are just about all they listen to, and are completely closed off to anything else. By the way, what was that synth forum you were talking about?

Nice forums!

You should check out a band from here, Raintime. They're all close friends of mine and I'll probably do a few shows with them in the near future since we live so close to each other, but they seem to be right up your alley. Andrea is a really, REALLY good keyboardist whom you might like.

Their music, while played well and being quite catchy, just doesn't really do it for me anymore...it's a little too poppy for me now. They're great live, though. Played Prog-Power a couple of years ago.

I've never been a fan of that style of keyboards, but I have to give the guy props for being so good at it. He's forced to hold back so much in Raintime because Claudio (the singer who's a keyboardist as well) wants to keep it simple and straightforward. It's a mutual agreement between the two of them, I guess.

I've kinda moved on from that whole scene but like I said, it just might be your thing.

lol theres a moderator on space4keys who's name is Claudio, i really wouldn't doubt its the same guy, unless Claudio's fairly common?

but yeah i've moved on from that whole scene as well, he uses a lot of presets too which makes for really boring cheesy parts as well, thats the THE generic saw lead in the beginning.

but he's also probably 10x better than me.

Claudio's a pretty common name here, but you never know...

Did he say where he's from?
