Looking for some horror movie recommendations.

Pans Labyrinth is awesome. I loved it.

I guess there are some horror elements in the movie. Wouldn't call it a horror flick per-say but amazing movie indeed and has quickly become on of my favs. Def a must see.

Prince of Darkness
In the Mouth of Madness
Masters of Horror - "Jenifer"

and "Code 46" is a great little sci-fi flick. Warrel should right a song about it.

The only thing I didn't like about In the Mouth of Madness was the ending...everything else was pretty cool though. do you read sutter cane?

I'm glad this thread turned into people trying to define what a horror movie is exactly. It isn't anything exactly, so shut the fuck up and give me recommendations based on what I have seen in the past couple weeks and liked. Haven't seen too many of those at all. I'm not interested in crappy classics that I've mostly already seen.

im a big fan of 80' horror movies (hellraiser, Bad Taste, The Omen, house, Demons)

but i wonder i think 3years ago a movie came thats called Dog Soldiers any of you have seen this movie? its fucking awesome i have it on dvd but if you like soldiers, woods, irish people and werewolves this is a really good movie :p

yeah, the same guy also made The Descent, which was a good one too.

And now on to ASIAN

if you want a neat monster movie, find The Host (its korean). Pretty new, has a little political statement in it, but it doesn't overshadow the greatness of the movie anyways.

As for horror, I'd strongly recommend Re-Cycle (Gwai-wik)
A mix between horror and fantasy, and nicely pulled off. Those damn Pang brothers, what can't they do? :worship:
