I finally watched the english version, and i must say it is much better than german syncronisation, though i liked that too.

Gandalf has a well fiting voice, though Aragorns voice is a bit high (yes i know it's not ,it's not his fault:D ) in contrast to the german sync.

you flattering boy

i'll take care of you when you'll be there. we'll sleep in the bed and the other people will sleep on the ground :D

Does anybody know, what parts of the book will the second and third movie include?
I've heard that the second movie will be based on the Two towers and the Return of the king and and the third movie will dedicate a huge part of it to the marriage of Aragorn and Arwen and the happy ending stuff, generally. If that happens it will be dead disgusting, because it will be such a shame to concentrate so many glorious battles and so many moments of mystique in 3+ hours and let that stupid Liv Tyler on screen more than 20 minutes.
Just imagine the divine scene, where Frodo gets attacked my that massive spider(dont know how its name is written)and Samwise faces that dilemma and gets trapped in a tragically beautiful stream of thoughts(definitely,my fave part of the book)in like 5minutes.disaster.
My other fave part of the book is-surprisingly enough-the very last part of the index, where it says that"Legolas, made a big ship and headed to the Grey Ports. And,it is said, that Gimly, the dwarf went with him as well..."So simply written, but so moving. It slays me,as one thing i really loved about that book is the existence and victory of pure values, friendship amongst them and,in the mentioned case, friendship until death, even if its parts belonged to "opposite"sides and were not fond of each other.
Deep meanings, that can be practically expanded in today's societies.Political and religional leaderships, taking advantage of the vulgar herd, phanatising it,with excuses stemming from historical and political events, substantially aiming, though, todarker benefits and gradually manage to cultivate immense hate between methodically patronised zombies.
I'M NOT A NUMBER,I'M A FREE MAN!

and as soon as people close the book or step out of the cinema they forget about all of that and keep on being a pain in the ass.

I borrowed today the DVD which got released today. Well, actually I'm glad i got one, because there were people standing at 10 a.m to get a copy to buy or to borrow, crazy. But now i think it is worth buying, amazing extra material, and a great preview about 10 minmutes of The Two Towers.

I'm off to watch it now, again.

Cheers Morpheus
