"Low end" production?

I always hear this term tossed around. I am not really sure what it is in reference to. Does it have to do with guitars? Could someone also give me an example of this in a few songs?

doesnt have to do with just the guitars. low-end just means the whole thing has a very bassy sound. examples Suffocation "Effigy of the Forgotten", Morbid Angel "Gateways To Annihilation", My Dying Bride's newest, Opeth "My Arms Your Hearse", etc....

Autopsy - Severed Survival. Like Sunlapse said. Just means more bassy production. I abhor low end production but that autopsy album is kickass none the less.

Esoteric's Epistomological Despondancy has really low end production. Everything fits the atmosphere, it's so sludgy and....slow..heh
