Grindcore. Simply pointlessly abrasive, lo-fi crap with disgusting lyrics and shit vocals
Rap - need I say more?
Indie crap - this whole indie scene is out of control. Who needs it?
Metalcore and nu-metal - not just shit, but people think that it's metal, thus it's shit that makes metal look bad...

A lot of people are saying punk sucks, but come on? The Clash, the Ramones, the Sex Pistols, Minor Threat, Black Flag, etc? Grow up, guys. At least respect the DIY culture, and recognize that punk was and always has been a huge influence on metal music and culture.

I don't know if Punk has had a lot of influence on Metal, but its had a lot of influence on Grunge. The reason why I like Punk is all its elements can be easily absorbed into your style regardless of what it is.
