Goddammit Cammy, I'm so sorry to hear of your predicament. I have nothing to offer other than nondescript advice about working through things in the most non-confrontational manner possible and retaining whatever positive connections that can be salvaged at this point. I obviously barely know either of you, but from what I gathered from when I met you guys, you both seemed very mature and rational; the sort of people capable of dealing with a situation like this in an agreeable manner.

Nothing wrong with banging exes. The sex in relationships is, on average, better than casual sex, but comes with a lot of strings. Banging an ex is like getting relationship sex with no strings. Unless your ex is not entirely emotionally stable, but who ever heard of such a thing?

When You break up with your sex partner, you have to go through banging (or maybe even dating) someone else (maybe even banging multiple people) before you can really even attempt to set up any kind of FWB-with-an-ex, otherwise you're just making a real-life Ross-and-Rachel thing
