Males and Females

You want a lack of information on your profile but what is there DHV :D. Changing pictures frequently, all of them showing you at the "it" spots etc. is one way to do it.

:lol: I've thought about doing is because I'm curious of how the online dating dynamic is from the other side. Obviously, girls' inboxes get flooded with garbage and this is especially true if they're attractive. If I get around to it, I'm going to make a few different profiles that are radically different and see how different the response is.

I was listening to my usual radio show and they were talking about creepy significant others. It really inspired me, on top of Zeph's marvelous idea... So my new goal this month is to scare the shit out of my man by pretending I'm sleeping and doing weird shit. Making the grudge noise, whispering feverishly in Latin, faking a possession, etc. Anyone have any other ideas? I'm toying with the thought of pretending to be Osama bin laden reincarnated too because he's a gun toting republican. That might be my cherry on top moment.
 
Experiment, Day 1.

Created the fake account. Didn't put ANY information about myself except for a few things in the box on the right. Used a photo of an attractive woman.

It's been 6 hours since I created the account and I already have 13 messages and over 50 profile views. Holy fucking shit. I'm going to read through them tonight.

I used a picture that Draele posted a few days ago. Girl in a leather skirt with studs.

So far one person was clever enough with computers to figure out my pic was "stolen." No idea if there's some reporting feature that will cause my profile to get taken down, but everyone else has definitely been fooled so far.

Most of the messages so far have been typical "hey what's up lol," but there are a couple more interesting ones.

"R u real ? U r pretty like angel"

"I see I don't exactly fit your age criteria and that we don't have a particularly high match percentage, yet, something about your profile captivated me so I felt compelled to send a message. And there it is"

"Hi what kind of relationship you looking for on here you are very beautiful "

"Just wanted to say you are very beautiful. I can email pics of me promise you'll like."

"Nice to see another atheist. Gorgeous profile pic! What did you do your masters in? Would love to hear back :)"

This is a bit overwhelming and I'm not sure if I'll message any of them back. No dick pix so far thankfully.
 
Man, I actually feel guilty doing this. I have never been good at dishonesty.

I put "history and mythology nerd" in my About Me section. Getting a few messages related to that.

Yeah, I'm a mod on the site, which basically entails voting whether or not a picture or profile should be deleted based on OKC's guidelines (aka, I delete pictures of pets, fake spambot photos of pornstars and models, pictures of landscapes, and dick picks). I'm betting the best way to pull this off would be to copy and slightly edit profiles of actual girls on the site that live on the other side of the country and use the slightly edited real profiles as the fake profiles. That way its "legitimate," so your pics and profile won't get flagged for appearing stock. That, and you'll get men too excited with your man interests :p
 
Well in that case I better delete it. It was a worthwhile exercise, but kinda nauseating, to be honest. As I said, just wanted to see what it was like on the other side of things.
 
I'm a mod there also, though I never do it anymore. So many fake profiles or people using pictures that aren't theirs.
