Maryland Deathfest VII

:(

@VFN: I know Big C...he was the vocalist of Malodorous...despite his stupid name and their oddly scene following, he's a pretty good vocalist and the band is weirdly porno/goregrindy for slam.

he's OK at what he does but from what i've seen, that's all he can do. i've developed my own more unique sound yet, i can immitate his gurgles (and put less voice and more throat in it) and his "deathcore style screams", along with more conventional black metal screams. i can also do quite a funny johan from amon amarth impression. personally, i think vinkus (also a youtube vocalist) is much better than big chocolate.

First, back to the scenester argument... I can attest to the fact that the last Devourment show was filled with pit bulls and not one single hardcore dancer. Texas rules.

Second, I am going to find a way to go, if I have to sell my soul.

Third, @viewer... I went to that same Nile tour here in Dallas, and me and two pit bulls were taking our slam dancers, one of the guys was about 6'6 275, and was walking around behind dancers and just kicking the shit out of them... pure awesome sauce.

And last, Marry me, Grimmy.

There will be 2 stages in 2009, with the 2nd stage being a smaller (like 400 capacity) one of mostly grind/power violence/hardcore/etc. type bands mostly doing like 15-20 minute sets during the change overs on the main stage. There'll be 50+ bands all together over the three-days.

2 stages... meh. it's ok if you don't like one of the bands playing but i always get stuck with the bull shit of having 2 bands i like playing at the same time
