On a side note, I'm glad they're cancelling King of the Hill. The only remotely funny character was Boomhauer (and Bobby to an extent). Every other aspect of the show was shit.

Family guy is still a worthwhile show, I've been a fan since the very beginning (I can still remember those Fox ad's for it's premier). But I think now, they rely too much on what's worked for them, and senselessly beat those jokes to death. Like, the whole chicken/Peter fight was great the first time - I hope I never see it again though.

At least the episodes are still amusing, and contain some laughs. I can't say the same for some endless shows that haven't been remotely decent in over ten years (ahem, The Simpsons).

I love that shit. It makes me laugh just cuz it's so randomly placed in episodes, and then he comes back and continues talkin like nothin happened. Freakin sweet.

Now this isn't directed specifically at just you, so I don't want you getting your panties in a bunch, but: Anyone who thinks random = funny can go fuck themselves. I hate that fucking random, "wAcKy!" shit that happens on Family Guy. It's just the height of laziness and disrespect for ones audience. After a show one time this girl was laughing about how something I did was "so random!" and I wanted to kick her in the vag. It's not fucking random if it has context you bitch.

ANYWAYS, King of the Hill is so saddeningly okay. The characters in that show are very funny (if you don't think Dale is funny you can just go ahead and fuck right off), but the stories are almost always stupid and lame. I think those characters could be better utilized in shorts.

My panties are fine thank you. And I personally don't see it as disrespect. Laziness definitely. It's meant to just kick back and laugh without too much thought. I just like random goofy shit sometimes. Not always, but occasionally. Like when I watch FG.

I've always rather enjoyed King of the Hill. The general interaction and such is funny, but I agree, the stories are lame.
