mesa rectifier vs peavey 6505

Dude, I'm not Andy, but I do that ALL the time, lol! Thats so hilarious too, the look on the other guitarists's face when the other guy is playing his stuff! HAHA! So great. I've even sat there and watched the guitarist so much that I learn his riffs, and once they leave and are out of the parking lot, I'm on his guitar and recording his tracks for him, priceless.

We should make this a sticky thread. C'mon djairouks, keep it comin'..

...And I believe Andy said that TGE was both guitarists playing 100% of the time. Remember, they are a couple of tight motherfuckers.

the music i compose is somewhat different of metallica and AE i have weird technique and chords and play drop C i can play in flames and i find it easier in drop tuning
but i don't play really super fast these days the songs i'm trying to master are ravenous my all time favorite song and nemesis and i've almost got it but those damn aamodt brothers are the kings of speed riffs

Of course drop tuning is going to be easier...you use one finger lol.

Bro, you may be able to tune your guitar, but you may need your guitar setup because the intonation may be WAAY FREAKING OFF. Even for weird sounding chords, you can hear how off the notes are. You know that wavy sound when you're string is out of tune when you're tuning it to another string? Yeah...I can hear that...hardcore.

Also note: Time has nothing to do with ones ability to play an instrument...people learn at different rates...some slower...than others...ehm.

well maybe i'll try the zoom unit it's cheap as hell so it won't hurt
but i'm a fan of boss effects and i hate digitech i hope zoom is more boss than digitech

Ok... before Karma bites my ass real hard...

djairouks, we are not serious about the Zoom. Sorry.

voila ok that's a short and understandable answer thanks
and by the way andy you were right my box may be defective she has an ugly vibration and sometimes resonates for ours if you palm mute a note and let it sing
and this morning i had the occasion to test a 5150 and i think i'll stick to my rectifier
