Antiverse - Cosmic Horror

New band. Thrash/death. Maybe a bit core in the vocals. But it sounds raw and untamed, I kind of like it.

I might just have to feed my debt and buy that Anathema vinyl.

Didn't know they were putting out a new album, that's fucking awesome. I've loved everything they've put out (post silent enigma). What's even more badass this confirms what they promised about another US your this year. Fuck yeah.

Also, not sure if this was posted but I just saw hour of peace has a new one out? Or coming out soon?

So I see Whitechapel is releasing a new album this month. Should anyone here really care? Probably not. They've always been that one deathcore band I've had a soft spot for though. What I've heard from the new album sounds like deathcore+ slipknot. And I know most of you are wrenching at this point but back in my angry teenager days, I loved me some Iowa and I'm probably way more excited for this than I should be.

Oh my, sounds more Pantera-y to me.

Yeah I've checked out their S/T'd one before and it's ok there's a lot worse out there. They're probably more Deathcore n' Roll now more than anything.

New thrash band, I enjoyed a couple songs from it. One complaint might be not enough variety, but there are some solid riffs in there. I like the boldness of just having a plain album cover. Singer sounds like the singer from lazarus a.d. sometimes, other times it's like he's doing a mustaine impression, but when he sounds like he's trying to be a thrashcore singer (tracks 3,4) I can't really get into it. Tracks 1 and 2 are decent mid-paced thrash though.

They're not on the Metal Archives yet? that's odd.
