Metal bands that are popular that you dislike?

A god-awful lousy excuse for a band. And Mustaine is the biggest whiner in metal history, although he knows his way around a guitar.

Iced Earth
I don't hate them, but most of their stuff just bore me to death. Generic riffs with a dull, monotonous singer. Crap solos too. The Glorious Burden rocks though, thanks to Owens' fierce vocals.

Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica etc.
Sorry, but I prefer my power metal with balls.
For some reason I do love Kamelot, though.

That puts you on my league. We like power metal but not the flowery stuff of the over-hyped one. A lot of metalheads despise all power and put in together in the same bag. I believe there are clear differences in bands.
