Metal Church

I didn't cared for MC after "Hanging In The Balance", it becomes Vanderhoof band but without Howe, Erickson, Wells and Marshall I couldn't call that band Metal Church anymore. I listened to WOTW and ALITD and found them empty and boring, they have a new one this year btw.

Alas I am here......... I think the metal community is blessed to have two kick-ass Metal Church eras. The first two Wayne era discs are very good, but like Brother Vern said.... when Howe/Wells/Marshall came along, Metal Church became a different monster. I enjoy all three from that era, but Blessing in Disguise is a true masterpiece and it is in my top ten releases of all-time. I think it holds up well (less the production) to anything some bigger bands like Metallica have released. I think it is a must have CD for any metal-head.

The Human Factor is one of the most underrated albums in metal history. Forget about this childish debate over which "era" is better, you just can't go wrong with this monster of an album. Great songs, great riffs, what more can one ask?

Indeed, I agree totally. And also IMO "Hanging In The Balance", seemed that people couldn't grip the mystic and magic of those albums :headbang:

Just as Brother Vern says...... awesome. All of the Howe era stuff is. The first two MC releases are also good.
