Pretty simple request. I listened to this one song called Harry, by some obscure British rapper that was remixed by Bare Noize.

The drop made me think of Metal, and sure enough, there was a Metal version.

I don't really know shit about Dubstep really, as I am only getting into a few songs here and there rather than individual artists.

Does anyone know an artist that successfully mixes Metal and Dubstep (or at least does good Dubstep remixes of Metal songs)?

Bassnectar did a decent remix of Seek & Destroy.

When it comes to originals, The Algorithm is about as good as it gets.

Commissioner is a project by Big Chocolate and Mitch Lucker. If you're willing to look past the -core reputations of their other bands, Commissioner is pretty rad.

Listen to this band!
They use Dubstep and Wobble bass on Breakdown sections.

Those songs are fucking sick!!

They play Avant-Garde Metal they use different elements from different music genres.

Check them out.

The browning is very very heavy on the techno synth shit if you don't mind nonstop breakdowns lol not really dubstep but a few parts on their latest release has dubstep shit goin on

I'm late to the party on this thread.

I've been listening / exploring more dubstep (The Heavy Metal of Dance music).

I'm sure if you like it you've heard of Skrillex, but not sure if anyone has posted this live cover yet from the band Pinn Panelle, pretty awesome:

OK I've been quite into this music, so:

Celldweller

Enter Shikari

Attack Attack!

I See Stars

Helia (the final breakdown)

And maybe some songs by Skip The Foreplay, Blue Stahli or Woe Is Me

made a profile just to help people out.... seeing as ive got nothing better to do I may as well be a positive contributor to the universe...

I have no idea how to identify dubstep, not really all that into it, but ive come across some pretty solid bands, not one offs like a lot of the artists.
I assume any metalhead looking for dubstep is actually looking for some heavy techno shit he can rock out to.

if your into tool, you might have listened to maynards new project. its some really off the wall stuff ranging from absurd and quirky to RRRAAAAAAAWWWW(that's supposed to be a primal scream into the mountains)

just thought i'd post this to give a range on puscifer, plus I dig it. I like anything from the buffalo springfield to mushroomhead to the highwaymen (for those that know, that's a fuck of a lot of genre to cover)

Hi, guys! I've been searching for a while a forum to share this! I made a dubstep metal remix of the song "Let The Bass Kick In Miami Bitch" by LMFAO and Chuckie and uploaded it as an entry for the contest in Beatport Play. I'd like you to listen to it, give your opinion and, if you like it, vote for it from April 22nd to May 5th.

Thank you and sorry for spamming! Here are the links:
