Metal + Jazz ?

come on guys, it's well damn your duty to know that blast beats originates from jazz haha, especially at an opeth forum :)

1+ to vuashke for enlightening the lot and 1+ for one hell of a bump.

anyone on topic: Is it just me that finds it hilarious roadrunner labels opeth having jazz influences?

Any albums by Naked City.

Features John Zorn and sounds like the musical equivalent of a jazz band being mugged by a grindcore outfit.

i asked a mate, and they recommended the band Planet X, ive never heard/listening to them before but i guess its worth a shot?

Diablo Swing Orchestra is not really a metal band, but they are the most eclectic thing I've ever heard. Metal, rock, jazz, opera, Spanish guitar, punk, whatever else shows up.
