Metallica, Testament or Megadeth ??

Well, without Metallica, there would be no Megadeth. Without both of them, there would be no Testament.

.....but I'm goin' with Testament!:headbang: :headbang:
Of course Mustaine was the original lead guitarist of Megadeth; so I suppose you have a point.

I really have to say I think I love them all (well early metallica and megadeth and most of Testament), and dont care to choose. It's a shame Testament didnt have Bostaph or Lombardo for their early albums though. Despite their simplicity, with an excellent drummer they would have been amazing!

Depends on many factors: mood, historical, etc.

Testament is most thrash of the three for me and except for a couple of albums the most consistent. Metallica was alright up to AJFA and then took the plunge into...(we're not again going to beat the dead horse). Megadeth was fine up to "Youthanasia", dropr the ball a bit in "Crypting Writings" and then screw it up completely, still I hope the new one to bring some interesting stuff enough to purchase it.

If I had to make a balance it'll be something like:

"Master Of Puppets", "Rust In Piece", "Low" and I'm happy with the three of them :D
I agree 100%, though i must add personally, i think Megadeth is on the right track with the new album. Their most enjoyable album since the criminally underrated Youthanasia. My opinion, of course. :)

Not only yours, I supported it too :kickass: I´m expecting my copy of UA to arrive by the weekend.

Seconded & thirded, Dave obviously put the metal in Metallica, haha:headbang: No wonder Megadeth was always superior thrashers.

1. Testament
2. Megadeth
.......................

3. Metallica

Other than MOP/Black Album, Metallica just kinda bored me. Megadeth and Testament both wrote some great songs, but Alex's solo-ing could make any song great.

...so, you like Master of Puppets, but not Ride the Lightning or Kill em All? That seems odd, but I guess there's no accounting for taste (which is further evidenced by you liking the Black album).

Ride The Lightning usually goes hand-in-hand with people's love of Master Of Puppets.
