Mid scoop or mid boost

Hey guys, I don't understand these terms such as mid scooped and I can't tell which one is mid scooped and which one is mid heavy.





Which guitar tone is mid scooped and which guitar tone is mid boosted?

Laaz is mid scooped to me. Priest is mid boosted how I hear it?

First is mid-scooped as it has more top-end, the second one is mid boosted. Try to crank your amp and see the difference yourself)
